This morning we worked in the mandala garden. Nina and Felix tackled the very overgrown triangle that will be for our leaf plants – leaks, more lettuces etc.
Estelle searched for parsnips and cleared the rows, so we will plant more to supplement the few that have survived.
I carefully planted out carrot seeds. Very interesting to see the Chartenay carrot seeds that I planted – the ones in the picture above just sitting on my hand. Normally our seeds look like those in the bag, but these seemed to have little tentacles coming out – hope they germinate OK.
We are picking our first runner beans.
