I didn’t get to the garden until mid morning, today and it got quite hot. I headed out the back and found some piles of alpacca poo – I collected a whole wheelbarrow full and brought it back and spread it generously in the old greenhouse, ready for some autumn planting. I then weeded and made sure the greenhouse was covered in weedmatting – except where we have mizuna and lettuces.
I then weeded where the peas will go and put some more alpacca poo there.
Finally I weeded the last planting of carrots in the mandala garden and then started to prepare the soil for a late planting of carrots in the next few rows.
I also bottled some more pears over the day. Busy time of year.
