Spring is definitely in the air – est max 22C today.  Sue is monitoring the Penny Royal on the lawn and I wanted to make sure we fertilise it, so we set to work this morning.

my research (http://agpest.co.nz/?pesttypes=pennyroyal) highlighted the soil issues to be combated if you want to control Penny Royal, so after Sue and I had dug a bucket full of Weed I spread gypsum and dolomite lime.  Then I fertilised the lawn using the Peter Cundall recommended Blood & Bone combined with 10% potash.

aft era that is watered in Inwill have a go at the weeds with his recommended sand amp deep ammonia.
