Today I finalised compost pile Y – it was quite heavy work – with lots of weeds that had dried and were heavy with soil, lots of comfrey and chicken poo and straw from the kangaroo house.
Then I worked on finishing the weeding and pruning of the valley garden tomatoes – not quite done!
I also gave the fennel and some of the southern carrots a drink of pigeon manure. I have resolved that Wednesdays/Thursday each week from now on is feeding day!
